Getting into the Groove

Parent Group Update
Last night, we welcomed 12 families to our first Parent Group Meeting of the year—it was a great start! We’re excited to continue growing our parent group and building strong connections throughout the year.
Our parent group is planning fundraisers to support student activities and field trips at every grade level. The first restaurant fundraiser is coming up soon:

Advisory Supports & Affinity Groups
Our students are settling into their classes, and we’re excited to begin offering supports and enrichments during Advisory time in the coming weeks. Academic supports will include a structured math support class, and starting October 7, our Affinity Groups will also launch.
We are proud to offer seven Affinity Groups this year:
  • Latine Student Union
  • Black Student Union
  • Asian Pacific Islander Student Union
  • Gender Sexuality Alliance
  • Neurodivergent Student Union
  • Native American Student Union
  • Jewish Student Union
These groups provide students with opportunities to build community, celebrate culture, find allies, and enjoy fun activities.
